작가 정연은 전통 동양화 기법을 기반으로 작업을 전개하며, 평면에 머무르지 않고 조형 작업을 더해 작업에 공간감과 깊이를 불어넣는다. 그의 작품은 동양 회화 특유의 내면적 서사를 현대적인 표현 방식으로 재해석하며, 동양의 미학과 현대적 언어가 만나는 새로운 시각을 제시한다.
Artist Jeong Yeon develops her work based on traditional Eastern painting techniques, adding sculptural elements that transcend the flat plane to infuse her pieces with spatial depth and dimension. Her art reinterprets the unique inner narratives of Eastern painting through contemporary expression, presenting a fresh perspective where Eastern aesthetics meet modern language.
