‘아일랜두’는 아직도 사는 게 서툰 어른들을 위한 위로와 유머를 담은 2컷, 4컷 만화의 세계다. 대표 캐릭터인 날개 없는 조류 ‘이지(Easy)’와 ‘백(Back)’을 중심으로, 만화·조형물·아트토이·전시를 통해 ‘불안과 회복’의 감정을 시각적으로 풀어낸다. 날개가 없는 조류라는 설정은 아직 삶에 익숙하지 않은 우리의 모습을 상징하며, 그들이 전하는 담담한 대사와 조용한 유머는 지친 마음을 잠시 쉬게 한다. 작업은 단순하고 담백한 선, 표정이 없는 캐릭터, 정적인 순간의 대비가 특징이다.

‘Islandooo’ is a world of two-panel and four-panel comics filled with comfort and humor for adults who still struggle with life. Centered around its main characters, the wingless birds ‘Easy’ and ‘Back’, it visually explores the emotions of ‘anxiety and recovery’ through comics, sculptures, art toys, and exhibitions. The concept of wingless birds symbolizes our own unfamiliarity with life, while their understated dialogue and quiet humor offer a momentary respite for weary hearts. The work is characterized by simple, clean lines, expressionless characters, and the contrast of static moments.
