긴숨 작가는 ‘구딩 노부부’ 캐릭터를 통해 행복한 가정의 모습을 따뜻하게 그려내는 일러스트레이터입니다. 런던에서 만난 한 노부부의 모습이 구딩 노부부의 모티브가 되었으며, 거리 곳곳에서 손을 잡고 걷는 노부부들의 모습은 작가에게 깊은 인상을 남겼습니다. 그 순간 느낀 ‘나도 저렇게 살고 싶다’는 바람이 작업의 출발점이 되었습니다. 출간작으로는 《당신과 이렇게 살고 싶어요》, 《매일매일 재미있게 살기》가 있으며, LG전자·삼성생명·현대오일뱅크·SBS·CGV·AK플라자·전주국제영화제·서울재즈페스티벌 등 다양한 기업 및 문화 기관과 협업해 왔습니다. ‘Good + ing(좋은 것의 연속)’을 뜻하는 구딩아트 대표로서, 최근에는 구딩 노부부를 넘어 젊은 부부와 가족 이야기까지 세계관을 확장하며, 보는 이들 또한 자신만의 행복한 가정을 그려갈 수 있기를 바라는 마음으로 작업을 이어가고 있습니다.
Artist Ginsuum is an illustrator who warmly depicts the image of a happy family through the ‘Gooding Old Couple’ characters. The appearance of an elderly couple she met in London became the motif for the Gooding Old Couple, and the sight of elderly couples walking hand in hand throughout the city left a deep impression on the artist. The wish felt in that moment “I want to live like that too.” became the starting point for her work. Published works include 《I Want to Live Like This with You》 and 《Living Fun Every Day》, and have collaborated with various corporate and cultural organizations such as LG Electronics, Samsung Life Insurance, Hyundai Oil Bank, SBS, CGV, AK Plaza, Jeonju International Film Festival, and Seoul Jazz Festival. As the representative of Gooding Art, which means “Good + Ing,” She has recently expanded her worldview beyond the old couple to the story of young couples and families, and continues his work with the hope that viewers can draw their own happy families.
